October brought fresh talent, hands-on learning, customer collaboration, industry conversations, and exciting developments in enterprise technology. It’s been a busy month, reflecting the many ways we continue to grow through people, innovation, and collaboration.

United Motors Lanka Selects Inivos for Its IFS Cloud Journey
Inivos Consulting has reached another significant milestone, partnering with United Motors Lanka PLC as its strategic implementation partner for the transition to IFS Cloud.
This collaboration marks an important step in United Motors Lanka’s digital transformation journey, with a unified cloud ERP platform set to support a more connected, agile, and future-ready automotive operation. By modernising core business systems, the initiative aims to establish a stronger foundation for operational visibility, efficiency, and long-term growth.

We look forward to working alongside United Motors Lanka as we help bring this next chapter of transformation to life.

Turning Classroom Knowledge into Real-World Engineering
At Inivos Technology, we believe practical experience plays a vital role in developing the next generation of software engineers. Through a four-month full-stack development externship facilitated by STEM Link, a group of students had the opportunity to experience the realities of building and delivering a software product.
Working alongside Kasun Fonseka, COO of Inivos Technology and the team, the students developed a Vehicle Maintenance Management System (VMMS), a fleet maintenance platform that gave them valuable exposure to the software development lifecycle.
The experience extended well beyond coding. Congratulations to the students for their commitment, teamwork, and dedication in bringing the project to life.

A Closer Look at the Future of Industrial AI at IFS Unleashed 2026
October also took us to IFS Unleashed 2026, the global gathering that brought together industry leaders, technology innovators, customers, and partners to explore the future of Industrial AI.
The event offered valuable learning opportunities, fresh perspectives on enterprise technology, and the chance to connect with members of the wider IFS community. With discussions and demonstrations focused on bringing AI into real-world industrial operations, the programme highlighted how intelligent technologies are moving beyond experimentation towards practical business applications.
We also had the opportunity to experience the event’s technology showcases, including its robotics demonstrations, and see the IFS robot in action. Alongside the insights and innovations, there was plenty of room to enjoy the experience and connect with others across the industry.
IFS Unleashed provided a valuable perspective on where enterprise technology is heading and how businesses can prepare to make the most of it.

Exploring AI Opportunities with Brave Energy Systems
We welcomed Channa Perera, General Manager - Retail Products and Services at Brave Energy Systems, to our office for a productive discussion with our Business Management System (BMS) team supporting BRAVE Energy.
The conversation explored how AI could create greater value within shared services across the energy sector, alongside opportunities to improve processes and encourage innovation. By exchanging ideas and examining emerging possibilities, both teams had the chance to consider how technology can support more effective ways of working.
We look forward to building on these discussions and continuing our work with Brave Energy Systems.

Driving Conversations at the Automotive Software Engineers Forum 3.0
Sri Lanka’s automotive software community came together for an engaging evening at the Software Engineers Forum 3.0, bringing together professionals and technology enthusiasts to discuss the evolving world of automotive engineering.
The event opened with remarks from Kasun Fonseka, COO of Inivos Technology, before moving into a fireside conversation featuring Frederik Bas, Farhan Shariff, Sumudu Abeysekara, Kasun Eranda, and Dinushka Wijesuriya, moderated by Hasitha Kaushan. Farhan Shariff also delivered a keynote exploring the changing automotive software landscape and the role of technology in shaping the industry's future.
Beyond the presentations, the forum created space for engineers to exchange perspectives, share experiences, and explore emerging opportunities across the sector. As automotive systems become increasingly software-driven, conversations like these help connect industry expertise with the talent and ideas needed for what comes next.
We’re proud to support a growing community of engineers whose work will help shape Sri Lanka’s contribution to the global automotive technology industry.
Looking Ahead
October reminded us that progress comes from investing in people, learning through experience, listening to customers, and embracing new possibilities. As we move into the months ahead, we remain focused on building strong partnerships, developing talent, and delivering technology solutions that create meaningful business impact.
Until Next Time…
