D. Samson & Sons Go-Live: A Transformative Leap to IFS Cloud
We proudly celebrated the successful go-live of D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd, one of Sri Lanka’s most respected retail and manufacturing brands, on IFS Cloud 24R1, marking a major milestone in their journey toward digital transformation.
This achievement signifies the completion of a seamless transformation from Apps 8 to Cloud, laying a strong foundation for modern, future-ready operations. Our team worked closely with the client to implement critical modules across Supply Chain, Finance, Maintenance, and Projects, while completely rebuilding their POS integration to support smooth, scalable retail operations.
The project was more than a technical implementation, it was a story of collaboration, precision, and innovation. From detailed planning to hands-on execution, every step reflected the commitment of both teams to ensure minimal disruption, enhanced efficiency, and measurable business impact.
This go-live is a testament to what’s possible when expertise meets partnership. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the D. Samson & Sons team for their trust and collaboration, and we look forward to supporting them as they continue to innovate and grow.

ICT Automotive Software Engineers Meetup 2.0: Powering the Future of Mobility
We continued our momentum by hosting Sri Lanka’s Ultimate Automotive Software Engineers Meetup 2.0, in collaboration with ICT Group Netherlands. The event brought together industry experts, aspiring engineers, and innovators shaping the future of automotive technology.
We had the privilege of welcoming Ahmed Abdelmonim , Operations Manager – Automotive, and Jarno van Kasteren , Senior Software Architect from ICT Netherlands, who shared valuable insights into connected mobility, software-defined vehicles, and global trends in automotive innovation. Joining them from the University of Moratuwa were Dr. Upeka Premaratne and Dr. Ranga Rodrigo, adding to the breadth of expertise and perspectives at the session.
The gathering offered valuable insights into automotive software development, giving participants practical knowledge, exposure to industry trends, and a clear view of the skills required to thrive. The event was alive with discussions, networking, and the exchange of innovative ideas.
This meetup reinforced our commitment to building and nurturing a strong automotive software community in Sri Lanka, fostering collaboration, practical learning, and innovation that will drive the next generation of engineers.

Inspiring Young Minds: Our Visit to Moratuwa & SLIIT with ICT Group
As part of our continued focus on talent development and industry-academia collaboration, we visited both the University of Moratuwa and SLIIT, together with ICT Netherlands leadership.
University of Moratuwa
At Moratuwa, we conducted an industry session on automotive software engineering, and we were genuinely amazed by the students’ enthusiasm, curiosity, and depth of knowledge. It was inspiring to see young engineers so eager to explore high-growth areas in engineering and embedded systems. Alongside the interactive session, we discussed potential internship pathways and future collaborations with academic leadership, further strengthening the bridge between classroom learning and real-world industry experience.
SLIIT
At SLIIT, discussions centered around aligning academic programs with industry needs, exploring internship opportunities, and fostering student-led innovation. We met some exceptionally talented students, reviewed their project ideas, and shared guidance on how to enhance their work for real-world application and scalability. Their creativity, drive, and willingness to learn left a lasting impression.
These campus engagements reaffirm our belief in Sri Lanka’s engineering talent and inspire us to continue supporting and elevating the next generation of innovators.

Inivacation’25!
We’re wrapping up this edition with a bang at Inivacation’25 – inivos annual trip to Cinnamon Bentota, a beachside escape to relax, have fun, and just enjoy being a team. It was extra special having our friends from ICT Netherlands join us, giving them a fun experience to remember during their visit to Sri Lanka, beyond all the business discussions!
The day was packed with laughter, games, and plenty of chaos, think balloon-bursting races that left everyone ducking and diving, and the Haka team challenge that had us all rolling with laughter while somehow figuring out how to work together. Honestly, it was ridiculous and fun in equal measure.
As the evening rolled in, Tiki Masque Night kicked off and we didn’t slow down one bit. The night was pure energy, we danced, laughed, played games, and just soaked in all the good vibes. It was one of those nights where nobody wanted to stop, reminding us that the best part of all our hard work is enjoying these moments together.
October was packed with stories worth remembering!
Until Next time…
